HOTEL POLICY
Customer Guidelines
Arrivals and Departures

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 12:00 PM
  • Late check-out / Early check-in: Upon request for a fee

Registration
Access to the customer floors is permitted only after registration at the Reception. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. If the minor is traveling with different people, he or she must present a written authorization and a copy of the parent's identification document authorizing him or her.

Tourist Tax | Municipality of Oleggio Castello
The tourist tax is applied starting from April 1, 2013.
The tax is paid for each overnight stay in accommodation facilities located in the Municipality of Oleggio Castello and is determined per person and per overnight stay.
The tax does not apply from the 16th day for stays exceeding 15 consecutive days without interruptions. The following are exempt from paying the tax:

  • minors up to the age of six;
  • persons who assist patients admitted to health facilities or nursing homes in the area;
  • parents, or carers, who assist minors under eighteen who are hospitalized, for a maximum of two people per patient;
  • one person (driver or group leader) for every 20 people belonging to organized groups.

Reductions 
A reduction of 30% of the tax is applied for taxable persons belonging to a group of 20 people or more.

Amount
Per person per night: €2.00

Cancellation Policy 
For flexible cancellations received:

  • up to 5 days before arrival: no penalty
  • after this deadline and in the event of a no-show: 100% of the cost of the first night will be charged
  • in the event of early departure: 30% of the total cost of the cancelled nights will be charged to your credit card

Children & Sofa beds

  • Children under three years of age who sleep in a cot in their parents' room will cost €35 per night.
  • Sofa beds are available in some rooms for €70 per night. Charges are applicable and must be requested and confirmed in advance. Connecting rooms are available.

Pets Policy
Your pet is welcome at Castello Dal Pozzo Resort, in accordance with our general policy and specific hotel policies. A supplement will be added to your room, with mandatory prior reservation of €25 per night. Pets are not allowed by the pool, in the restaurant rooms, and in the common areas reserved for food and beverage services.

Restaurant and Pet Policies
Pets are not allowed inside the restaurant and breakfast room. They must be kept on a leash at all times and, if necessary, muzzled while in the hotel and grounds. It is the owner's responsibility to clean up after their pet within the hotel property and on the grounds of Castello Dal Pozzo and its surroundings. Vaccination documents must be presented at check-in. Please make a reservation for pets in advance and inform the front desk if you require a dog bed or meals for your pet. Housekeeping will only be done when the pet is not present in the room.
Pet owners agree to be responsible for all property damage and/or personal injury caused by their pet. They are also responsible for any noise generated by the pet and must ensure that it does not disturb the tranquility of other guests. The hotel reserves the right to request the removal of a pet that causes continuous disturbances.

Credit Cards
We accept American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Diners, CartaSi. The hotel reserves the right to verify the validity of the card prior to arrival using approved channels. An authorization hold will be placed on the credit card at check-in for the amount due for the stay.

Internet
High-speed WiFi Internet access is available throughout the hotel and in the guest rooms upon registration.

Smoking Policy 
Castello Dal Pozzo is a completely non-smoking hotel and does not have smoking rooms. Rooms are equipped with smoke detectors. If, after your stay, the room smells strongly of cigarettes, the Management reserves the right to charge €350.00 for cleaning, airing and sanitizing the room for the next guest. Smoking areas are located outside.

Open Flames
For safety reasons, open flames are not permitted in the bedrooms, including candles, irons and gas rings.

Parking
Shuttle services or transfers are subject to charges. Outdoor parking is free. Covered parking with video surveillance and direct access to the Palazzo Hotel is available at a cost of €30 per night. 

Concierge
Concierge service is always available

Lost and Found Service
The hotel offers a Lost and Found service and the reception will contact guests to inform them of any items left after their stay. Items will be kept for a maximum of six months from the check-out date.

Privacy
Pursuant to Law 196/03 on the protection of personal data, we inform you that Castello Dal Pozzo collects and manages personal data acquired by electronic or automatic means. This data is used to meet the needs of guests, for statistical purposes and to send future offers on behalf of Castello Dal Pozzo. The data will never be shared with third parties. You can exercise your rights at any time pursuant to Law 196/03, requesting access to your data, their correction, integration or deletion.
